Cathy S. Dailey, 56, passed away on January 19, 2026 unexpectedly. She was born in Terre Haute on May 1, 1969 to William P. Ellinger Jr. and Alice O. (King) Fagg.

She was preceded in death by her father William, mother Alice, and beloved daughter Courtney Marie.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Dailey, children Justin Dailey and Chassity Dailey, grandchildren Bricilin Dailey and Jerry Dailey Jr., stepmother Betty Elinger, sister Stephanie (Stacey) Jones (Paul), brother-in-law Richard Dailey Sr. (Jackie), stepsiblings Bee and Nicole “Nikkie,” and Kayla Goodman, who was like a daughter, and her children. She is also survived by uncles Chuck King (Judy), Jim King (Lisa), Fred King (Lisa), and Max (Donna); aunts Mary Scank (Gus), Brenda (Dave), and Donna (Mark); niece Pam Jones, nephews Chad Dailey and Richard Dailey Jr., family friends Joe (Jennie) Cheesman and their kids and Greg and Peaches (Leslie) Hendrickson and their kids; and many other family and friends including the Ellinger, Hedden, and Guess families.

Per her wishes, cremation has been chosen with no services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
