Charlie Whitney Jr. Obituary

Charlie Whitney Jr., 67, passed away on September 18, 2025. He was born on June 8, 1958 in Yazoo City, MS to Charlie Whitney and Matha (Stiff) Whitney. Charlie married Linda (Lessmann) Whitney on March 10, 2001. He worked as a laborer for many years. He also enjoyed tinkering on cars, but he was known for his amazing cooking abilities.


Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, children Charlie Whitney III, Cherlynn Young, and Deron Young; sister Trina Simpson, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael Whitney.


Per his wishes, cremation has been chosen. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
