Courtney Guy White, 39, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021, at her home unexpectedly. She was born April 28, 1982, at Clay County Hospital in Brazil, IN. Courtney was in the graduation class of 2000 at Northview High School. While there, she was active in sports, playing volleyball and tennis and upon graduating she went on to play volleyball at Olney Central College where she earned her Associates Degree. She was currently working at the Hamilton Center, Inc. providing services for adults with disabilities. She was a loving mother, and she was very proud of her two children. This was evident in the way she spoke of them, and she documented their achievements and milestones through social media, as they meant the world to her.
Courtney was preceded in death by her father James D. Guy and her mother Faith A. Crawford.
She is survived by her husband Reggie White, her children Jamison Fisher, Kendrick White, and stepson Nkosi White. She also leaves behind her stepmother Rebecca Guy, her three brothers Shane Guy, Jordan Guy, and Cameron Guy, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Cremation was chosen and the family plans for a Celebration of Life at later date.
“I truly love my children with every ounce of my soul!! There is nothing I wouldn’t do for them, and yes, I may hover as a mom, but these 2 kids were gifts to me from God for me to love, protect and care for. I’m getting emotional just writing this, because I love them so much, and it’s hard to believe how time flies and my first born will going to college in 2 years and my youngest will be in middle school in 2 years.
Jamison Leigh and Kendrick Brennon, mom loves you!! “
