Dale E. Bennington, 79, passed away on November 20, 2024. He was born on August 4, 1945, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to Edgar and Helen Bennington. Dale loved golfing and bowling, and he, served on the indiana State USBC Bowling Board of Directors for 11 years and was 3" Vice President when he resigned. He was also a member of the Crawfordsville Eagles Aerie 1005 and Sons of the American Legion, Post 281, Cloverdale, Indiana.

He is survived by his significant other of 22 years, Alice "AJ" Hacker, children Angelique Cowens, Jimmy Dale Bennington, Darren Bennington, and Anastasia Shields; stepsons Thomas Hacker (Pam) and Douglas Hacker (Debbie); 10 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a large extended family.

Dale was dearly loved by his family and will be missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gary, and a sister, Karen.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 8, 2024 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Cloverdale American Legion.
