Darla R. Snavely (Johnson) passed at union hospital on November 12, 2024 at 8:22 a.m. at the age of 72. Darla was born on August 22, 1952 in Vigo County Indiana to Irene and Melvin Johnson. Darla grew up in Denison, Illinois and graduated in 1970 from Marshall High school. Darla was a retired CNA, graduating from Ivy Tech Community College in 1999. Darla went on to continue her education receiving her QMA and Phlebotomy certificates before retiring. Darla enjoyed hosting family events in her home and playing marbles or cards with her family. Darla was proceeded in death by her father Melvin E. Johnson, mother Irene Johnson, brother Bradley Johnson, and nephew Matthew Johnson. Darla is survived by her children Shawna White, Ryan Snavely, her brothers Daniel Johnson, John Johnson, her grandchildren Cami Lindley, Marissa White, her nieces and nephews Bruce Johnson, Joyell Decker, John Johnson, Meghann King among other extended family members.
