Daryal W Higgins

           Daryal “Dooby” Higgins, born in Albuquerque, NM on December 26, 1956, passed away peacefully at home on July 7 after a lengthy illness. He was married on July 2, 1982. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Jeri of Quincy IN, sons Sean (Stacey) Higgins of Quincy, IN and Mike (Michelle) of Clearwater, FL, grandchildren Anna Higgins of Indianapolis, IN, Collin Higgins of Greenfield, IN and Ian and Vanessa of Spence, IN. He is also survived by his brothers Robert Higgins of Henderson, NV, Joe Higgins of Roxboro, NC, Billy Higgins of Indianapolis, IN, and a sister Sherine Shoemake of Grand Prairie, TX.

          Daryal graduated Sallisaw High School in Sallisaw, OK and attended Okmulgee Tech, Okmulgee, OK where he received his associates degree in Heating, AirConditioning, and Refrigeration. He served in the United States AirForce in 1974-1975. Daryal owned and operated Higgins Mechanical for 20 years as a heating and cooling specialist.

          Daryal loved spending time with family, his pets, traveling, music, taking driving cruises, and frisbee golf.

          A celebration of life has been set for Saturday July 24, 2021, 1:00-4:00pm at 9850 N US Highway 231, Quincy, IN 47456
