Everett DeWayne Stevens passed away December 16, 2024. He was born February 5, 1960, to Everett D. Stevens and Evelyn D. (Laycock) Carlyle.
He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Elmer Carlyle Sr., brothers Chuck Carlyle and Bob Laycock, and sisters Delores Carlyle and Sandy Haney. He is survived by his wife Janet Stevens, daughters Misty Stevens (Edward Wright) and Ashley Stevens, grandsons Riley Stevens and Leyland Kelly, and a granddaughter on the way Makyla Stevens, brother Elmer Carlyle Jr. and sister Nancy Stevens, and a ton of nieces and nephews.
Everett was a man of many nicknames (Eddie, YoYo, Rollie) He was extremely talented with many hobbies.
He was a comedian through and through, an expert at the yo-yo, a great singer and loved singing karaoke. He enjoyed playing the drums, playing horseshoes, and was an avid Colts football fan. He was an awesome breakfast chef.
He retired from Kirkham Hardwood after 30 years. He loved his family and would do anything for his daughters and grandchildren.
He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all.
