Georgia Shultz Obituary

Georgia Fern Shultz, 70, of Terre Haute died on Sunday, November, 15, 2020.  She was born July 26, 1950 in Mt. Erie, Illinois.  Georgia is the daughter of Corrine (Mason) and Edward Wells.

Georgia was the main cook at Richland Memorial Hospital for many years.  She enjoyed her annual Tunica trips with her co-workers.  She had a love for the beach, pigs, Bingo, and had a laugh that would bring a smile to anyone’s face.  She loved spending time with family and her grand babies most of all.

Georgia is survived by her son Dewayne “Kerry” Shultz and wife Heather of Claremont, daughter Crystal Combs and husband Michael Combs of Terre Haute, brother Steve Wells and wife Janet of Noble,  sisters Marsha Schnautz of Olney, Connie Bradley and husband Sam of Ingraham; five grandchildren, Kyle Shultz, Sierra Fenton, Braden Nicholson, Gabriel Combs, and Gracelynn Combs, great grandchild Deckard Slunaker, several nieces and nephews Tonya Hinterscher  (Matt), Bridget Harmon (Tom), Shanna Ginder (Jerry), Anthony Schnautz, Brent Wells (Kaci), and Savannah Bradley; great nieces and nephews, Ashley Hinterscher, Jordan Ginder, Jersey Wells, Lane Wells, Johnson Ginder, Abigale Schnautz and Trey Wells.

Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Corrine and Edward Wells, and brother Bruce “Inky” Wells.

Cremation rights have been accorded.  Samaritan Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorials can be made to Rolling Thunder Illinois 3 or Olney and Hospice-Southeastern Illinois.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
