Gerald Wayne Willan, Sr., 82, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.  He was born to Benjamin and Ethel in Terre Haute, Indiana on September 15, 1943.  Gerald served in the United States Army and retired as the Head Custodian at Terre Haute South High School, after 29 years.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing video games.  Most of all, Gerald enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Gerald is preceded in death by both of his parents; brother, Don Willan, Sr.; brother-in-law, Bob Branaman; and granddaughter, Scarlett Willan.

Gerald is survived by his son, Gary Willan, Jr. (Rachel) and their children: Koren Willan, Zoey Willan, Piper Willan, Jaxon Willan, and Ruby Willan; daughter Kathy Dominguez (Guicho) and their children: Charles Craigue, Fredderick Allen, Conner Allen, Amayah Dominguez, and Adrien Dominguez; daughter Cassandra Heckelsberg and her children; sister, Patricia Branaman; special nephew, Kenny Deverick; several nieces and nephews; and good friends, Butch and Jennifer.
