Harold Edward Nieft Jr passed away at 9:25 pm on December 11, 2024. He was born on August 31, 1945, to Harold Edward Nieft Sr and Audrey Elizabeth Nieft. Harold was a proud veteran of the Navy, and he later from retired from Putnamville Correctional Facility. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping to just tinkering around outside.

Harold is survived by his daughters Patricia Nieft-Sykes (Brent) and Debra Turner, sister Dottie Rankins (David), brother David Overton, stepdaughter Cathy Walker, 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by wife of 57 years, Sharon Nieft, both parents, a son John Nieft, a daughter Susan Kluzinski, and a grandson Jared Nieft.

Visitation will be held on Saturday December 21, 2024, from 11 am to 2 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home with a funeral service following at 2 pm. Pastor Josh Brewer will officiate. Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com.
