Helen Vivian Wright, 65, passed away on November 21, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1959 in Terre Haute. In her free time, Helen enjoyed crafting. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and just being outside in nature. She loved to learn about and immerse herself in Native American culture. Most importantly, she loved her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Chris Scott (Kiki), grandchildren Aidan Scott, Cayden Scott, and Colton Scott; brothers Bob Davis and Bruce Simmons; and sisters Mary Lynn Simmons and Wyann Eggers.

She is preceded in death by her mother Leila (Cottom) Simmons and sister Sandy Eggers.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm at Samaritan Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 1 pm at the funeral home with Rick Swan officiating.
