Hilda Mae Hutton (Cardinal), 85, passed away March 31, 2025 with her loving family at her bedside.  She was the daughter of late Louis and Cecelia (Witteried) Cardinal.  Hilda was born on October 3, 1939.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Andrea Blackburn; son Roderick “Guppy” Hutton; twin great-grandsons Paul and Bradley Fleck; granddaughter Lindsey Fleck; brother Charles and his wife Margaret Cardinal; as well as her sister Mary Bauer.  She is survived by her family who loved her unconditionally, daughters Angie Phegley (Denis) and Alicia Ashcraft (Mike); son Bobby Hutton; son-in-law Brent Blackburn; grandchildren Marc Phegley, Brandon Fleck (Elizabeth), Blake Blackburn (Brooke), Meghan DeBaun (Seth), and Ryan Hutton; great-grandchildren Nate Phegley, Maleah Phegley, Brylie Fleck, Colin Fleck, Abram DeBaun, Arlo Blackburn, Rhett Blackburn, Frank Blackburn, Edith Blackburn and Ainsley Blackburn; sister Carolyn Pennington (Jerry); brother-in-law Dick Bauer; Dorothy Weber (Larry), as well as several nieces and nephews.  Hilda was a beacon of loving kindness to her family and all those she came in contact with.  She was a loving grandmother to her grandchildren as well as a loving great-grandmother to her great-grandchildren.  Hilda loved her family and friends with so much compassion.  She started her own business, Open Arms assisted Living Facility, where she ran it as an operator for disabled individuals.  She devoted her life to God, her family, and so many others in need.  Visitation for Hilda will be held at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral Church on Monday, April 14th from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 AM.  Burial at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery will follow.
