James H. Newman, 61, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday August 10, 2023 at Gibson Family Hospice Center. He was born January 21, 1962 in Clinton, Indiana. James is survived by his wife of 19 years, Katherine (Criss) Newman; step-daughters, Katherine Thomas (Devin Arbaugh), Cynthia Thomas, Chelsea Morgan, and Kimikco Morgan; step-son, Shalamar Morgan; grandchildren, Brently Arbaugh, Zaiden Thomas, Jaxton Thomas, and Braelyn Arbaugh. He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy James Newman. Visitation will be Friday August 18, 2023 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services at 1:00 pm in the funeral home.
