Jamie L. Crites passed away on Oct 22, 2023. He was born on February 13, 1962 in Olney, Texas to John Crites and Clara (Moore) Crites . Jamie was a 1981 graduate of Seeger Memorial High School in West Lebanon, Indiana. Following graduation Jamie enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served 6 years as a military policeman. Upon leaving the Air Force Jamie worked at various construction and cooking jobs, before retiring to Oklahoma where he lived for 15 years and then relocating to Rockville, Indiana 6 years ago.. Fishing, cooking, weapons and art were special interests of his life. He is survived by his sister, Jana Crites(Rockville IN) and brothers, John (Greenfield OH), Joe(Wingate IN) and Jim Crites(West Lafayette IN). He had one son Jacob and one grandson Jace Crites of Lafayette, Indiana. Jamie especially loved his cats and was fondly called the cat whisperer by his family.

He is preceded in death by both parents, John and Clara Crites.
