Joseph Martin Boyke Obituary

Joseph Martin Boyke, 52, passed away on January 24, 2026, following a short and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 30, 1973, to John and Patricia Boyke in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Joe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Pam Boyke; his children, Sierra Dulin (LaRon), Bryanna Reece (Jon), and Maggie Boyke; and his cherished grandchildren, Rylie and Scarlett Reece.

He is also survived by his siblings, Tammy Kelsheimer (Dennis) and John Boyke Jr. (Leslie), and Sandra Blitz (James) along with nieces and nephews and many extended family members and friends who will miss him.

Joe worked for the Tribune Star and enjoyed spending his time outside of work outdoors. He loved hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and cutting grass—simple pleasures that brought him happiness.

Joe lived life on his own terms and will be remembered for his laid-back nature and appreciation for simple comforts.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.  Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
