Judy K. (Johnson) Mason

Judy Mason (nee Johnson) age 76, of Terre Haute, Indiana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She left this world peacefully on January 20, 2022 at the age of 76 following a long battle with cancer.  She died at home with her loving husband, Rodney, by her side.

Judy was born on June 14, 1945 in Petersburg, Indiana to Emmett and Francis Johnson (nee Sumner).

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Rodney Mason, and her children. Amy Harden (John), Twila Davis (Troy), Eric Mason (Dee), Michael Mason and Jeffrey Mason (Amanda), her 17 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren and countless other family members who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert, her sister Nancy Sue and her infant son Rodney Jr.

Judy never met a stranger and was kind to everyone she met.  She took great pride in being a mother to her children and reveled in their achievements, no matter how big or small. She truly was the rock of the Mason family and the glue that held us all together.  No matter what she had going on in her life, she was always there for her family and friends.

According to Judy's wishes, the family has chosen to forego a service and will instead have a celebration of life on her next birthday. All family and friends will be welcome.
