Kathy Jeanette Cooksey, 60, passed away on December 14, 2024.  She was born December 18, 1963.  Kathy graduated from Van Buren High School.  She most recently worked at the Walmart in Brazil.  Kathy was a huge animal lover.  In her free time, she enjoyed rock hunting and looking for arrowheads. She greatly loved spending time with her family. Kathy also enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and everything orange and black.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, James R. Latham, husband Joe Wayne Yockey, granddaughter Billie Marie Hoopingarner, and son in law Wade Tyler Bumgarner.  She is survived by daughters Brandi Hoopingarner and Crystal Bumgarner, mother Eva Latham, brother Larry Latham (Jennifer), grandchildren Kyle Hoopingarner (Kacie), Callie Hoopingarner, Landon Klyaic, and Zayn Bumgarner, great granddaughter Alana Klyaic, and nephew Jacob Latham (Madison).

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life is being held at North Meridian Street Church of Christ at 1524 N Meridian St, Brazil, IN on January 11, 2024 from 2:00 pm- 5:00 pm.
