Keith Mobley, 58, passed away on February 11, 2025, with family by his side. He was born on September 16, 1966, in Hazel Crest, IL to Joe Mobley and Patty Lou (Powell) Downey. He was a lifelong resident of Steger, IL where he always enjoyed playing pool and a cold one, he was known for working on cars and building things. He was definitely a construction and mechanic guy at heart. Keith never met a stranger and was helpful to all who asked.

He is survived by his mother Patty Downey (Tom), Children; Christina, Brian, Tonya, and Mike; Siblings Joe Jackie), Kenneth (Melissa), and Jo Ann (Jim); and his six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Joe Mobley, late wife Wilma Devitt, and both sets of his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held on March 8th, 11am to 3pm at Bambinos in Steger, Illinois. Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com.
