Larry Grove, 57, of Staunton, IN. affectionately called “Larry Joe” went to be with the Lord on June 3, 2019 while at home surrounded by his family.  Born to Alvin Grove and Dorothy Clingerman in Cloverdale, IN.  He attended Brazil High School. Larry and worked for Townsend Tree Service, Asplundh Tree Service, for Leon Mercer, and was a Water Hauler, he also worked at Great Dane.  February 5, 1994 he married Cindy Bowman.  He was a 14.5 year Pancreatic Cancer Survivor, but encountered many health issues along his way.  He enjoyed fishing and watching his son-in-law and grandson at Lincoln Park Speedway Race Track.  Larry also enjoyed woodworking.  He had a great sense of humor.  Larry always said, “I used to be a great singer, but had to stop because of the illness….it made everyone sick.”  We still laugh about it to this day.  He was preceded in death by his parents as well as a granddaughter, Michayla.  He is survived by his wife Cindy; two sons Matt Grove (Sabrina) and Wade Powell (Melanie); two daughters Misty Armstrong (Brian) and Heather Wallen (David); Sisters Madonna Grove (Elizabeth Carson) of Chicago IL and Linda Grove-Certa (Chris) of Apache Junction AZ; Brother Mike Grove (Linda) of Carbon IN;brother-in-law Keith Bowman; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation for Larry will be held on Saturday June 8th at First Christian Church in Brazil from 10-1:00 with a service from Mark Grayless beginning at noon.
