Laura Kay Ross, 47, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She was born July 1, 1977, in Paris, Illinois to Rick Peters and Pam Doan Peters. Laura was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, loved music, and being outdoors. Laura was a great cook and made the best pork chops, mashed potatoes, and homemade pizza. Most of all she loved her family.
Laura is survived by her father, Rick Peters (Lynn), the love of her life, Roy Muncie, children Desiree Muncie, Marissa Muncie, and Roy “R.J.” Muncie, Jr., siblings Jeannie Clore, Anita Peters, and Kevin Peters (Jenny), step sister Angela Murphy, stepdaughter Jennifer Hatfield (Iane), step-granddaughter Iesha Kitt (Matthew) and step-great granddaughter Aliciana Fairrow, as well as her beloved bird Benji. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pam Peters, and son Harlan Ross.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 10, 2025 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
