Lester M. “Mike” Ramey, 73, of Terre Haute passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.  Mike was born on July 22, 1952, in Terre Haute to Lester C. Ramey and Doris Hoffman Ramey.  He retired from Verizon after many years working as a telephone technician.  Mike enjoyed fishing, traveling, and watching NASCAR, football, and basketball.  He was an avid Indiana Fever fan. Mike and Bettina loved visiting Brown County.  Mike was a member of the Masonic Social Lodge #86. He will be lovingly missed by his family.

Mike is survived by his wife of nearly 37 years, Bettina Ramey, daughter Danielle Strole (Jason), granddaughters Brittany Strole, Brianna Strole, and Raelyn Strole, great-granddaughters Aurora and Hunter Ann; siblings Cheryl Taylor, Linda Comer (Glenn), Steve Ramey, Toni Wren (Maurice), Richard Ramey (Alice), Melissa Dill (Tony), and Karen Lowe (Ike), brother-in-law Randy Soules, special nephew Scott Wellinger, and several nieces.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law Sue Ramey.
