Lisa Susan Sotak

Our beloved Lisa Susan Sotak, 56, passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 surrounded by her loving sisters.  Lisa was born on June 29, 1964 in Terre Haute to Emil George Sotak and Norma Ruth Hunter Sotak.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  Lisa is survived by her two loving sisters and brother-in-law, Vicki Ragle (John) and Jayne Sotak (Greg Wilson); two nieces Vanessa Prox (Bryan) and Kristin Sullivan (Brian); two great-nephews Jack Prox and Chase Sullivan; one great niece Charlotte Sullivan as well as many loving cousins. Lisa was an honor student who graduated Terre Haute North Vigo High School.  She then graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Computer Sciences.  Lisa was baptized as a child at First Assembly of God in Terre Haute and has remained a faithful servant.  Lisa worked jobs at both ISU and USPS.  She enjoyed singing and sang in the Sound of Music at THNHS.  She liked to dance, especially with her favorite partner, her father, at various events.  Visitation for Lisa will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Saturday, July 11th from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM.  Burial at Roselawn Memorial Park will follow.  Pastor Keith Taylor will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Terre Haute Humane Shelter.  The family asks that if you plan to attend to please wear a mask.  Online condolences may be left at Samaritanfunerals.com
