Margaret “Peggy” Dickerson, 83, of Terre Haute passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. She was born on September 29, 1938 to Reed A. Morlan and Margaret L. Morlan. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Paul Dickerson, as well as her parents and sister Joann Lawyer. She is survived by her sister Mary Lou Tryon, brother Freddie Joe Morlan and sons Fred Cartwright, Jr. (Beth), Steve Cartwright (Lena), and Todd Cartwright (Maria); step-son Carl Dickerson (Bonnie), step-daughters Terri Foster (Dean), Paula Dickerson, and Penny Isle; nine grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, seventeen step-great-grandchildren, and two step-great-great-grandchildren. Peggy is also survived by her dog Princess who loved her dearly.
Peggy was especially devoted to her family. She loved living on the lake with her husband Paul and enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida. She worked for many years at Columbia Records and managed the Dairy Queen at Plaza North Shopping Center.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
