Marlyn Glen (Gee) Chappelle, 88, of Terre Haute passed away peacefully in her sleep. Maryln was born on September 25, 1936, to James and Mildred Gee. She graduated from Otter Creek High School in Terre Haute where she lived until her marriage to Don Chappelle. They moved to San Diego, CA and had three children together.

Maryln worked for the San Diego County Court House as an accounting clerk. Her and Don both belonged to The Model “T” Ford Club and The Horseless Carriage Club. They enjoyed family camping trips. In her later years she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She really enjoyed creating and making quilts and absolutely loved her kitties.

Maryln is preceded in death by her parents; James and Mildred Gee; her husband Don Chappelle; brother James (Jimmy); and daughter Yvonne Chappelle. She is survived by her children; Duane (Pier) Chappelle, Marsha Chappelle; sister Donna Scarbrough; nephews: Tom Scarbrough and Jimmy Scarbrough; grandchildren: Westley (Abby) Chappelle, Jayne Suter, Kole (Dani) Parker, Wyatt Chappelle; great-grandchildren: Simon, Grace, Aiden, Bowen, Drezdan, Gavin, and Sage; and her beloved kitties: Delilah, Princess, Knuckles, and Jacki.
