Mary Rost Obituary

Mary went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2022 in Nashville, TN after a brief illness. She grew up in Brazil, IN where she returned to serve as an assistant/licensed pastor at Jackson Street Wesleyan Church. 
 
She completed her ministry training through the Wesleyan Flame program.  Prior to her ministry work she served as a Medical Assistant and professional secretary in a contractor's office. Mary graduated from Brazil High School in 1974. 
 
Mary was married to Bob Rost (Assistant Pastor at Free Life Community Church) on August 20, 1978.  Mary is survived by her husband of 43 years Bob Rost; 2 daughters Megan Marietta (Brock) and Robin Krieter (Jay); brother Andy F. Whitt III (Michelle); sister Debra White (Joe) as well as her grandson Corbin Marietta. 
 
Visitation for Mary will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at Samaritan Funeral Home from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with services starting at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Dr Dan Willis, Sr Pastor of Free Life Church and Pastor Denis Holley of Jackson Street Wesleyan Church will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Crisis Pregnancy Center.
