Michael Hamilton Obituary

Michael Hamilton, 68, passed away at home on November 25, 2019.  He was born on March 10, 1951 to Claude A Hamilton and Frances A Hamilton.  Michael is preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by his wife Nancy; His Children Matt Hamilton (Kami) and Charity Reed (Rodney); Brother Scott Hamilton; Sisters Diane Jones (Kenny) and Sharon Minton; Grandchildren Josh Reed, Jake Reed, Gavin Hamilton, Grant Hamilton, Gage Hamilton; Great grandchild Emmi Reed; Step-children Nancy Stewart, Eva Schwab, Amy Keller, Spring Schuapp, Samantha Stewart, Roxanne Yorn, Ronatta Gray, Sara Torres, Donald Stewart Jr, Jacob Stewart, and Ashley Rodriguez; as well as many step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  Michael was very active in in the United Schutzhund Clubs of America.  He started the Western Indiana Schutzhund Club in 1982. Between 1996 and 2002 Michael was elected president of the North American Schutzhund Club.  He loved dogs, especially police dogs.  He worked most his life in the construction industry.  There will be a celebration of life for Michael at a later date.
