Michael Jay Sanquenetti Sr. passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 63. He was born on October 28, 1961, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Joseph Charles Sanquenetti Il and MaryRose Weinrich.

Michael is survived by his fiancée, Mary Schell; his children, Michael Sanquenetti II (Vickie) and Stacy Godfrey (Jeremy); and his grandchildren: Bliss King (Daniel), Bianka McCullough (Joshua), Talissa Clark, Michael Sanquenetti III, and Chelsie Sanquenetti. He also leaves behind his great-grandchildren: Raylynn, Bailee, Jaxson, Zayden, Kenslee, Waylon, Jaxson, Jocelyn, and Sophia.

He is also survived by his mother, MaryRose Weinrich; his sister, Christine Sanquenetti (Maggie); his sister-in-law, Cecilia Sanquenetti; and his stepbrother, Robert Weinrich (Hannah). His nieces Dusty Sanquenetti, Ginny Gibson, Carrie Garrison, and Rach Williams, and nephews Joseph Charles Sanquenetti IV and Richard Beasley, will remember him in their own ways. Additionally, he leaves behind Holly Kearschner, Mandy Kearschner, Daniel Kearschner, Olivia, Oakleigh, and Addison.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Charles Sanquenetti II; his brother, Joseph Charles Sanquenetti III; his stepfather, Robert Weinrich; his stepsister, Sandra Jean Swearinger; and his son-in-law, Kenneth Godfrey.

Michael was known for his stubbornness, his independence, and his way of doing things on his own terms.He will be remembered and missed by those who knew him.
