Mishelle Lynn Key

Mishelle Lynn Key 48, of West Terre Haute was reunited with her love Wednesday afternoon, February 19, 2020 at the residence of her sister and best friend Dawn Bright.  Mishelle was born in Terre Haute on December 5, 1971 to Tim Christie and Lynda Connor. She met the love of her life, Wade A. Key, and married on December 5, 1990. The two shared many great memories and hardships over their 25 years on this earth together but they always let their love see them through.  It was a rarity to see one without the other.  She is preceded in death by her mother; brother Denny Barnett, nephew Brody, and her husband Wade A. Key.  She is survived by her loving family.  Mishelle was passionate about her work.  She and Wade ran Horse Shoe Lake Campground together for many years and were extremely proud of their work at the park.  The position allowed them to not only work together as a team, but often included the whole family.  People who came to stay could always count on Mishelle’s smile and friendly conversation as they entered the park.  During her free time she loved to hike the woods and being out in nature.  She could often be found searching for rocks to add to her collection with her grandson anywhere they could find some to dig through.  A celebration of life for Mishelle will be on Saturday, February 29th from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Sandford Firehouse, 6685 Bayh Rd.
