Patrick Kelly Murphy, 68, of Terre Haute, formerly of Sevierville, TN passed away on January 28, 2025, at Terre Haute Union Hospital. He was born on October 9, 1956, to William “Bill” Murphy and Rosemary Hogan Murphy in Brazil, IN where he grew up and graduated from Brazil High School in 1975. Kelly was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Ramona Murphy. He is survived by his fiancé, Loren Jover, who he planned to marry this year, his daughter, Leslie Murphy of Brentwood, TN (BFF, Steve O’ Brien), sister, Claudia Marratta, and nieces and nephews, Dustin (Whitney) and Brittany Lemmon and Josh and Britney Mueller, his dapper dog, Bosley, and Leslie’s “girls,” Millie and Sadie. Kelly retired from the industrial coatings industry. During his career he worked for Sherwin Williams, ITW Philadelphia Resins, and Rust-oleum, which relocated him to Paducah, KY, St. Louis, MO, and Sevierville, TN. During his time in Sevierville, he opened Gatlinburg’s first gourmet coffee shop, Coffee and Company, which is located in The Village. In retirement, Kelly enjoyed spending time with his blended family, family of choice, Maryland Community Church small group, and friends of Bill W. Kelly had a big heart, passion for helping others, and contributing to the Community Bible Church in La Carlota City, Philippines. He will be missed by many. Per Kelly’s wishes, there will be no services.
