Paul D. Stevens, Jr.

Paul D. Stevens Jr. born January 20, 1975, to Henrietta and Paul Stevens Sr. He is preceded in death by his father Paul Sr., Grandparents of both Parents, as well as a host of Aunts and Uncles.

 Paul attended Terre Haute South Vigo High School and continued his education at Vincennes University to study Criminology. He soon realized it was his passion to mentor/counsel young adults in need of compassion and direction which led him to find employment at Gibault. Paul’s love for people was organic; his laughter was contagious.

 Paul knew no stranger. If you knew Paul, you loved him. He had a way of making sure of that, he then learned how he had a way with words, which then lead him to the next stage of his life; a career of sales which he continued to do for 12 years, and it was a craft. He could sell glasses to a blind man.

 Paul was adventurous and spontaneous, Paul loved to fish, travel, visit themed parks, bowling, sports, pretty much anything that involved adventure. He enjoyed his time with his family and close friends.

Paul was an all-around amazing man. And though he will be extremely missed, his death is not the end. We will cherish those everlasting memories and know he is always with us in spirit, and we shall meet again.

 Paul is survived by his mother Henrietta Stevens of Terre Haute, sister Apryl Abiodun of Indianapolis, and Cynthis Carson of Terre Haute; brother Eugene Stevens of Vincennes; nephews: Jaramy, Demitrez, Kiante Brown, Zykeere Jenkins; nieces Simone Carey, Leslie Young, Capricious Brown; nine great nieces and nephews as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and close family friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Samaritan Funeral Home.  Service will begin at 4:00 p.m.  Pastor William Rowe and Pastor Sean Barton will be officiating.
