Paul Dickerson Obituary

Paul Dickerson, 81, of Terre Haute passed away on June 21, 2020.  He was born on September 18, 1938 to Russel E. Dickerson and Glenna M. Dickerson.  Paul is preceded in death by his first wife, Thelma Dickerson(Perrill), his parents, as well as his siblings.  He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Ruth Morlan-Dickerson; son Carl Dickerson (Bonnie); daughters Terri Foster (Dean), Paula Dickerson, and Penny Isle (Jeff); step-sons Fred Cartwright (Beth), Steve Cartwright (Lena) and Todd Cartwright (Maria); 11 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.  Paul is also survived by his dog Princess, who loved him dearly.  Paul retired from Alcan and was the former owner of both The Rafters and The Joker Tavern.  He was a member of the VFW, Marine Corps League, and the Riley Legion.  He enjoyed fishing, tinkering around with things, collecting coins, and traveling.  Visitation for Paul will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25 from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM with services starting at 12:00 PM.  Burial at Roselawn Memorial Park will follow.  Joshua Kent will be officiating.
