Phyllis Elaine Long

Phyllis Elaine Long, 70, of Terre Haute, IN passed away at home October 20,2021 with her loving family beside her. Phyllis spent a lot of years fighting and finally being as selfless as possible finally thought of her self and went to sleep. Anyone that knows her knows she is one of the strongest women in the world! She definitely fought hard! 

Phyllis worked at Baeslers Market for 21 yrs even after she lost her legs. Nothing kept her down! She absolutely loved her Baeslers family!! A very special thank you to Bob Baesler for being such a God send to her! Phyllis was a amazing Mom and grandma to her daughter and all her grandkids and great grandkids. She was Mom Mama, MomMom, Grandma, and G! 

She lived and breathed for her daughter and especially for her grandbabies!! They were all the loves of her life! There are so many people that are not mentioned but please know she loved you and thought of you often!!

Phyllis wanted to thank her special friends Sherri and Stan for the love and prayers. Sherri blessed Phyllis before she left and that means the world to Phyllis family!

Phyllis is proceeded in death by both parents Robert and Barbara Lambert of Indiana, Pa, the love of her life and forever soulmate James L. Long of Sullivan, Indiana, and a granddaughter. 

Her loving family that remains Sister Judi (Mark) Bradley of Pennsylvania, Brother Bruce (Betty) Lambert of Illinois, and youngest sister, her best friend Tracey (Michael) McArdle of Pennsylvania. Several neices and nephews and great neices and nephews and cousins upon cousins. Especially cousin John Lambert of Pennsylvania he has been wonderful to Phyllis and family! 

Daughter Mandee Gosnell of Terre Haute, Sons Brian Morris of Lima, Ohio, Corey Cash of Terre Haute, Indiana, Son Scott Crowe of Terre Haute.

Grandchildren Kaitlyn Wallace (Rickey Townley) of Greenfield, Indiana, Aaron "Bubba" (Debra "Dbo") Wallace of Terre Haute, Bailee Wallace and Bella Gosnell of Terre Haute, Dandre Lonberger of Terre Haute, Brandi Cottom Indiana. Her precious Great Grandbabies Nichole Meyer and JayDin Montgomery both of Terre Haute, Indiana, Manny Prince, Paislee and Charlee Wallace, and Little Miss AvaJane Wallace all of Terre Haute. 

At this time we are not having any services but the family will be doing a celebration of life at a later date. If anyone wishes to donate please do to the Terre Haute humane shelter and Kindred hospice of Terre Haute. I cannot thank Hospice enough for giving my the ability to keep my mom at home. Keeping her comfortable and allowing her to sleep peacefully! Thank you to everyone!!
