Ralph Leo Conn II Obituary

Ralph Leo Conn II, 75, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 9, 2025.  He was born on August 5, 1950 in Terre Haute to Ralph L. Conn and Juanita M. (Creasey.) Ralph is preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Deborah; mother-in-law Mary Silvers; sister Vicki; daughter Tamara (Don); sons Ralph III (Allison), Randall (Jennifer), Rodney (Sara); grandchildren Dailyn (Ethan), Rachael, Jaselyn, Meagan, Barrett, Jaylee, Sophia, Jensyn, Travis (Jenna), and Kylee (Keaton); great-grandchildren Emory, Brooks, and Shay, as well as many special friends including his furbaby Ellie.  Ralph was a ’68 graduate of Gertsmeyer High School and a ’72 graduate of Indiana State University, where he received a full ride scholarship for trumpet performance.  He retired from Taghleef Industries. Ralph enjoyed hunting, fishing, and golf.  Most of all, he cherished his time with family.  Ralph served in the U.S. Army Reserve and received the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 104, The Marine Corps League, Elks Lodge 86, and the Murdock Racing Club of Terre Haute.  A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Wabash Valley or Terre Haute Humane Society.  Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com.
