Ray Snoderly Obituary

Ray Austin Snoderly, Jr. passed away December 12, 2021 at Union hospital after a battle with the CoVid virus. He was born December 12, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio.  He was the son of Ray A. Snoderly and Sally Ann Newton Snoderly. He retired from Montgomery County Data Center after working there for 33 years. Ray served in the U.S. Army during the 1960s.  Metal detecting, gardening, working in his workshop and keeping up his farm was what he enjoyed in life. He also found much time for relaxing music, listening to Accuradio through his headphones. After retirement he moved to Terre Haute, Indiana to be with the love of his life, Theresa Snoderly. He was invaluable to his family and always willing to help them in any way he could.  He will be missed more than words could ever say.

Ray was preceded in death by his father Ray Austin Snoderly, Sr. and Sally Newton Snoderly, his mother.  Also Virginia, a sister, and Kenny an older brother, plus a nephew, Gilbert.

He is survived by his ex-wife and significant other, Theresa Snoderly, his son Ray Snoderly, III, son Noah J. Snoderly, daughter-in law, Tara Snoderly, and beloved step-daughter Melanie Castle.  In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren Justin, Cyrus, Josie and Tula Snoderly, son-in-law Chris Castle, and grandchildren Taylor and Korey Castle.
