On May 10, 2025 our beloved mother, Rebecca Joan Likens-Phelps, who was our angel, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior. She was born September 7, 1967 in Martinsville, Indiana to the later Barbara Shular Likens and Delbert Likens. Rebecca enjoyed being a part of her significant other’s band, Dead Give Away, and attending his gigs. She also loved her friends and family and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, whom she loved very much. Rebecca also loved owls. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her companion, Sid Trimble, whom she loved with all of her heart; her daughter, Natasha Phelps (Blair Brown) of Madisonville, Kentucky; son, Glendell Phelps (Alicia) of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; five grandsons, Dylan Phelps and Trevor Hust of Madisonville, Kentucky, Noah Phelps, Paxton Phelps, and Reiken Phelps of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; four granddaughters, Madison Hust, Paisley Armstrong, and Serenity Brown of Madisonville, Kentucky, Nevaeh Jones and Allie Phelps of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; great-granddaughter, Gracelyn Lynn Massey Phillip-Phelps; her life-long best friend, Rita Garwood as well as a host of nieces, nephews,  cousins, and friends. Along with her parents Rebecca was also preceded in death by her son,, PJ Phelps and granddaughter, Chole Elizabeth Phelps. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
