Richard was very sweet and kind. He was certainly a hero to everyone who met him. Richard was an amazing man loved and cherished by his daughters and family. He taught us all what it meant to be a family and to be there for each other. The girls adored this man, as they feel everyone did. Richard loved spending time with his family, they were the most important thing to him. His daughters think of him as one of the best men they’ve ever known, Richard treated the girls as if they were his entire life, and that’s how the girls thought of their Daddy Doo.
Richard enjoyed wood working. Richard loved his home, “Hoover’s Cabin” established in 2017. He loved sitting on his front porch, and watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds. Richard loved cars, especially his El Caminos which he had customized.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. There will be a celebration of life on May 6th, at noon. In the Shelter house at Terri Lynn’s house. In case of rain, it’ll be at Ressa’s same day and time.
