Ricky Lee Swafford passed away quietly, surrounded by family on January 9, 2026.  He was born on December 16, 1948, to Gene and Viola Swafford. 

Ricky is survived by his wife, Diana (Timberman) Swafford; his children, Ricky Lee Swafford Jr., Renae Shawn Swafford, Sherra (Langley) Price, Holli (Langley) Truesdel; 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parent; siblings, Sally Swafford, Frank Swafford and Martha Pruett; children, Robby A. Swafford and Forest "Chip" Wayne Langley II.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Family of God Church located at 2018 SR-67, Spencer, Indiana 47460.  The family will welcome visitors from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will begin at the church at 4:30 p.m.
