Robert A. Clements

Robert A. Clements, 57, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, November 8, 2023. He was born February 1, 1966 and raised in Terre Haute by his late father Robert Clements and his mother Elizabeth Clements. There he graduated from Terre Haute South where he played football and was coached by his father. Bob proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War and Operation Desert Storm and went on to graduate from Indiana State University. He later worked in telecommunications and sales for over 20 years. He was previously married to Karen Clements for 28 years and was an amazing father to his two children Ryan Clements (26) and Robby Clements (30). Bob spent much of his time coaching his two boys in both football and basketball through the many years, and making sure to find time to be known as “Eagle Eye Bob” on the golf course with his friends. He was a member of Holy Spirit at Geist and volunteered there as a Stephen Minister. Bob was a loving father, brother, and son who wanted the best for his family and an amazing friend to all, he will be missed dearly by many.

Robert is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Clements, his two siblings Rebecca Plaza and John Clements, as well as his two sons Ryan and Robby Clements.

There will be a graveside service on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2 pm at Grandview Cemetery. lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert’s name are suggested to go to the Terre Haute Humane Society.
