Robert William Scott, Jr., 75, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.  He was born to Robert W. Scott, Sr. and Evelyn (Mace) Scott on October 27, 1950 in Terre Haute.  Robert worked as a truck driver for many years and eventually retired from working for the Terre Haute Street Department. 

Robert met the love of his life, Carolene Sue (Roy) Scott in 1987 and married in 1994.  The two were known to be “joined at the hip” and did everything together.  They enjoyed doing yardwork and shooting pool.

Robert is preceded in death by both of his parents; brothers Ronnie Scott and Mike Scott.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carolene; sons Robert William Scott III and James Samuel Horsley, Jr. (Crystal); daughter Lori Ann Harding; brother Brad Scott (Debbie); grandchildren Arlena, Taylor, Miranda, Lexi, Alana, Madison, Kara, Olivia; friend Mark Hanson; and many friends at the Street Department.
