Scott “Tyler” Dean, age 33, a beacon of light and strength passed  away peacefully on Tuesday February 11, 2025 , at Aperion Care Summerfield Cloverdale In, after a courageous battle with Huntington's Disease. 

Known for his infectious smile, big hugs, kind heart and unconditional love towards others, he touched the lives of countless friends and family. 

Tyler enjoyed listening to music, singing, coloring, tattoos, UK basketball, video games, watching horror movies, and hanging out with his cousin Caitlin whom he shared an unwavering bond and love with. 

He is preceded in death by his father James Winston Dean of Scottsburg Indiana mother Norma Renee Eads of Lexington Ky, paternal grandfather Franklin D. Dean and paternal aunt Fonda F. Dean 

He is survived by his son James W. Dean of Lexington Ky, sister Leslie Hernandez Larios and nephews, brother Jayden Kinnard, Paternal Grandmother Zella M. Reardon, Paternal Uncle Timothy Dean, cousins Caitlin Dean Pedigo and Casey Dean

A private memorial service will be held. The Dean family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the staff at Aperion Care Summerfield and Bob and Carey Sowards for caring and loving Tyler like family.
