Sherry L. Hollingshead

Sherry L. Hollingshead, 70, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, April 18, 2022 at Majestic Care of Deming Park.  She was born February 3, 1952 to Ernest Dillard and Marjorie Daves Price.  Sherry was a loving mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Nashville, Tennesee.  Thanksgiving dinner was always special at her home.  She made the best fried chicken and banana pudding.  Sherry loved to watch people participate in Karaoke.  Most of all she loved spending time with the grandchildren and was blessed to be able to babysit the youngest for the last couple of years.

Sherry is survived by her sons Jeff Balding and Jason Elder, daughters Chrystal Elder, Tina Elder (Jason Briggs), and Tiffany Catterson (Jeremy Crickmore) , eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, brother Randall Crossno (Gail), two nephews, and close friends Maire Woodruff and Dennis Baugh.  She is preceded in death by her parents and one son Curtis Balding.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Samaritan Funeral Home located at 2425 Wabash Avenue.  Service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
