Skyleen Monique Ross Obituary

Skyleen Monique Ross, 23, passed away unexpectedly on October 19, 2025.


Skyleen was known for her friendly personality, her sweet & loving heart. Being genuinely kind, caring, & her sincere unwavering love for family & friends. Skyleen loved Girl Scouts, swimming & was a member of the Terre Haute Torpedoes swim club. She loved drawing, painting & spending quiet prayer time with the Lord Jesus.


Skyleen was employed at Casey’s in Clinton, IN where she served as a proud & happy Casey’s Team Member, highly committed & dedicated to her job, striving to always do her best, & to provide her customers with sincere kindness & care.


Skyleen attended St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, & Ivy Tech Community College. Her educational goal was Radiology Technician.


Skyleen is survived by her father Jeremy Ross, mother Jessica Orosco, brothers Brandon & Jeremy Orosco; stepmother Emily Ross, sister Anna Ross, brothers Jeremy Ross Jr, Darius Bobo, Shawn Loftson Jr., & Jaiden Loftson: great-grandmothers Carol Kruzan and Bessie Ross; grandparents Rudolph Ross Jr, Kimberlee Ross; & additional aunts, uncles, & cousins.


Skyleen will be greatly & lovingly missed by her family, friends, & community.


May we all take solace knowing Skyleen had given her heart to the Lord Jesus the Christ, & is now in her Heavenly home.


A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm at St. John Missionary Baptist Church with a service beginning at 1pm. Burial to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com.
