Steven Ray Brush, 72, of Rosedale, Indiana passed away Friday, October 24, 2025.  He was born to James Thomas and Helen Louise (Brown) Brush on July 5, 1953 in Brazil, Indiana. 

Steven worked as a mechanic for many years and enjoyed working on old cars.  He married the love of his life, Margaret “Peggy” (Rhodes) Brush on February 20, 1971.  When he wasn’t working on cars, Steven enjoyed flying his own plane.  He enjoyed being outdoors and mushroom hunting and fishing.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Steven is preceded in death by both of his parents and brother-in-law John Allen.

Steven is survived by his loving wife, Peggy; sons Joe Brush (Heather) and Darin Brush (Jamie); brother Ron Brush (Pam); sister Karen Allen; grandchildren Joey Brush, Grayson Brush, and Coleson Brush (Morgan); several nieces and nephews; several cousins; and many friends.

Steven will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
