Thelma Jean "Peg" Hoff

Thelma Jean "Peg" Hoff, age 97, of Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023. Thelma was born on November 20, 1926, in Terre Haute to Ozzie and Janette (Brown) Bandy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Hoff, her father, mother, and her brother, Max Bandy. Thelma is survived by her loving daughter, Janet Hoff, son Glen Hoff and daughter Paula Lowe and her husband Bodi. She will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Elizabeth Walter, Chris Hoff and his wife Angi, Joshua Lowe, and Kylie Lowe, as well as her five great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Thelma graduated from Wiley High School in 1945 and later had a successful career at Terre Haute First National Bank, where she dedicated over 20 years of service. After retiring, Thelma enjoyed pursuing her 25 year hobby of button collecting with the Wabash Valley Button Club. She also loved traveling, crafting and camping, and was a proud member of Eastern Star Chapter 43 for 50 years. She was a lifelong member at St. Mark UCC.

Thelma's wishes were to not have any services, but her family welcomes kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers or plants, please consider making a donation to The American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association in Thelma's memory. Thelma Jean "Peg" Hoff will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
