Timothy Alan Runnels

Timothy Alan Runnels, 58, of Terre Haute passed away Monday, June 13, 2022.  He was born October 5, 1963 in Berrian Springs, Michigan to James A. Runnels and Frances M. Hullinger Runnels.  Tim was a hardworking man and a jack of all trades.  He was a jokester and would do everything possible to keep people smiling. Tim was a very giving man and would go without if he could help someone in need.  He enjoyed tinkering with cars, loved animals, and loved country music.  He was a member of the Times of Refreshing Church.  Most of all Tim loved to spend time with his family.

Tim is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Vanessa, son D.J. Evinger (Laura) and daughter Jodi Wallace (Ronnie), grandchildren Summer (Matt), Ace, Chauncy, and Levi, great grandchildren Ela and Ivyianna,  sister Tammy Words (Eddie), brother Joseph Yeager, brother-in-law William Hensley, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, infant twin boys who passed away at birth, and sister Teresa Hensley.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Samaritan Funeral Home.  Service will begin at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m. Bishop Gregory and Mother Smith will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on the funeral home website to help with funeral expenses.  Online condolences may be made to www.samaritanfunerals.com.
