Venus Inez Morris was born October 3, 1955 to Addie Hutchinson Morris Nelson and Virgil Morris in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Venus was baptized at an early age at Calvary Baptist Church. She attended Fairbanks Elementary School, McLean Middle School and South High School.
Venus worked at Columbia Records and then worked as an Asbestos worker for 8 years; during that time she met her soulmate Edward Jacobs and later moved to Evansville, IN. She enjoyed fishing, attending to her garden and her pets.
Venus enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had a kind spirit and a good heart towards others. She was always full of joy and happiness. Venus kept a smile on her face no matter what got in her way. A “Bundle of Fun,” she knew how to make you laugh and always happy to see you. If you were ever in trouble, she would always let you know that she had your back. Venus would say, “I am carrying a Rock in a sock” and “I am on my way.” As she would end her day with you, she would end it by saying…“Love You All the Time.”
