William Franklin Oricks, Jr., 87, of Terre Haute, formerly of West Terre Haute and Farmersburg, went to be with the Lord during the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 18, 2025.  William was born in Terre Haute on May 26, 1937.  He was the son of William Oricks, Sr. and Rose Ann Foley.  He was a retired custodian.  He loved attending church.

William “Bill” was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Darlene Oricks, his son James W. Oricks, granddaughter Oakleigh Rae Oricks, and many siblings. He is survived by his children Sheila Brewer, Jerry Oricks, Jennifer Oricks, William Oricks, III (Rici), and Jason Oricks; grandchildren Peggy and Ryan Brewer, William Oricks IV, and Isaac Oricks, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Bill loved the Lord and his family with all his heart. He loved listening to Marty Robbins. He was a big fan of Dick the Bruiser and the Chicago Cubs. Bill loved to drive his car to Walmart and push a cart and walk for exercise. He loved to cut grass in his spare time. He loved reading his Bible.  Bill also enjoyed watching wrestling videos on his iPod.

We will love and miss him forever!
